Are you ready to bring awareness to the community, department and schools? This will be a competition to “Paint the Rez” orange. This is to honor and uphold survivors and intergenerational survivors of the Indian residential school system and to commemorate those who didn’t return home.
The best decorated TOPs office/department and Native American offices at the local middle and high schools will win a pizza party. Children will receive an entry to win movie passes if they wear their orange shirt on Sept 30th. We will supply some decorations. September 23rd we will start the competition and choose the winner on September 27th.
Please locate last year’s orange t-shirt to wear on Sept 30th as we only have a limited supply for incoming children who did not get one last year.
Please contact prevention@sagchip.org if you would like to receive decorations for your office, this is to the first ten eamils received. Who wants to be one of three to judge the competition?
