Services: Funeral Services for Delores will be held at Chippewa Indian United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 26th at 2 p.m.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, May 24th from 2 until time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Delores Kay Jackson, 56, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral Services for Delores will be held at Chippewa Indian United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 26th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Doyle Perry and Robert "Bo" Pego officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 24th from 2 until time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Delores was born on April 21, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Homer and Irene (Raphael) Jackson. She was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and the 39-Roll.
Delores is survived by her husband, Mike Bennett of Mt. Pleasant; children, Eliza Peters-Jackson; Michael Jackson; Patricia (Kevin Taylor) Jackson; Lisa Bennett and Michael Bennett Jr. all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Ridge; Tyler; Kaylee; Kris Jr.; LouAnne; Wyett; Wakiza; David; Alexis; Alex and Isaiah; great-granddaughter, Ayiana; brother, Donald (Leigh) Chippewa of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Marlene Jackson of Mt. Pleasant and many nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and several aunts and uncles.
