Obituary:
Rebecca Joyce Sprague, 44, of Rosebush passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw.
Funeral services for Rebecca will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 9th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Pego officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The family will also receive friends on Saturday, October 9th from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Rebecca was born on May 1, 1966 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Phil and Regina (Kahgegab) Sprague. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Rebecca was an avid traveler who especially enjoyed the southern states and meeting new people. She was a big animal lover and truly loved being with family.
Rebecca is survived by her brothers, Bernie (Bonnie) Sprague, Phil "Bean" Sprague, Larry Sprague, Wayne Sprague, Ken Sprague (Kathy Kline), and Gary Sprague; sisters, Barbara Sprague and Jo Kathy Sprague; special friend, Jack Smith; aunt, Florence (Mike) White; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her pets, Mindy, Lena, Snoop, and Crockpot.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rocky Sprague and Philip Sprague; sisters, Phyllis Sprague and Shirley Day; and special aunt, Beatrice Colwell.
