Obituary:
JAMES ORVILLE STRONG entered this life on Jan. 10, 1952 and entered
Eternal Life on Oct. 14, 2010. He was the son of James
Strong and the grandson of Chief James Strong.
He Is survived by
his wife Sharon Strong, stepson Erin Hunsinger, and grandson Brandon
Hunsinger of Hemet, California; mother, Leona Lorene Myers of Fowler, California; brothers Mike Davis of Rohnert Park,
California and Cliff Chamberlain of Sheppard, Michigan; his sisters, Diane Robinson
of Wellington, Kansas and Mary Sawade of Remus, Michigan.
James was
honored to be a Tribal Elder of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan
and cherished all the people of his tribe, their history and traditions.
He was a master carpenter all his life following the footsteps of
our Lord Jesus. Cars and motorcycles were his passion and he truly
"lived to ride". He was a loving, kind, devoted husband and faithful,
caring friend.
Our hearts miss him so much, but we are comforted to
know he is in the caring arms of our Lord God.
