Sarah Jane Cox, 84, of Mount Pleasant and formerly of Frederic passed away on Sunday February 5, 2012.
Sarah was born in Rosebush, MI on May 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Lillian (Williams) and Eugene Dutton.
Sarah married Wilson "Butch" Cox, Jr. on October 11, 1969 in Frederic.
Sarah enjoyed traveling, reading, arts, crafts, making quilts, playing piano, and shopping.
Survived by her husband Butch of 42 years.

Son: Aaron Cox of Frederic, MI;
Grandchildren: Rhyannon and Michael Quinlan
Sister: Rose Anderson, of East Lansing, MI.
Brother: Wayne (Kathy) Dutton, of FreelandMI.;
Visitation will be held on Friday February 10, 2012 between 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. .
Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic in the spring.
