Laura May Klepper, age 43, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at a local care facility.
She was born September 12, 1968, in Grand Haven to LaVerne Dale and Delores May (Collins) Burns. Laura loved watching old movies, musicals, and the Sci-Fi channel. She most of all loved spending time with her family. Laura was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. Laura is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Amanda Klepper; son Nick Campfield; mother, Delores Stillson of Twin Lake; father LaVerne (Diane) Burns of Spring Lake; 2 brothers, LaVerne (Gina) Burns of Spring Lake and Joseph (Alicia) Ives of Grand Haven; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Laura was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Burns on September 14, 2002.
The service for Laura will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Mike VanKampen officiating. Friends may meet the family from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the funeral home in Grand Haven. Memorial contributions to the family are appreciated.
