Duane A. Beaulieu, Sr. went home to be with his beloved Lord and Savior on April 24, 2012. He was 74.
Born on the Peters family farm in Mt. Forest Township, he was the only son of the late Edith (Logan) Beaulieu and step-son to the late Roman Beaulieu. In addition to his mother and step-father, he was preceded in death by his father Thomas Noal Peters and his sister, Joanne Kulick.
Duane was a graduate of Cody High School in Detroit and earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit. He was a proud Navy veteran, a longtime member of Warrendale Community Church in Dearborn and a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan
Duane is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol (Mischnick) Beaulieu, whom he married at Warrendale Community Church, and their four children: Duane (and Janie) Beaulieu, Jr. of New Hampshire; Tracey (and Nelson) Olivier of Massachusetts; Jon (and Susanne) Beaulieu of Pennsylvania; and David (and Jennifer) Beaulieu of Georgia; as well as nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Warrendale Community Church on Saturday, April 28, 2012 after a private interment at Cadillac Gardens West.
