HOUSE, TEDDY LEE, age 36, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Jackson, MI.
Funeral Services for Teddy will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Siedlecki officiating. Interment will follow in the Vernon Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to H.A.T.S or the Mt. Pleasant Sports Boosters. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Teddy was born on January 9, 1978 in Alma, the son of Thomas and Lanette (Stinson) House. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and worked at the Soaring Eagle Casino as an apprentice in the electrical department. Teddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, rebuilding trucks, and swimming. He loved his dogs, Winston and Dawson, and spending time at the lake.
Teddy is survived by his mother, Lanette (Steve) Zaleski of Mt. Pleasant; and father, Tom (Karen) House of Farwell; grandmothers, Bonnie Stinson of Rosebush and Janet House of Clare; grandpa, Dan Kyser of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Rodney House of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Rachel (Taylor Vasquez) House of Mt. Pleasant; cousin, James Robert Stinson; biological father, Ron Swart and his parents, Rolene Thomas and Ken Swart.
Teddy was preceded in death by his grandparents, James G. Stinson, Reginald House, and Velma Kyser; aunts, Patricia Stinson and Valerie Lytle; and uncles, Lee and Harvey Chamberlain.
