The Education department's Saginaw Chippewa Language Revitalization Initiative is working to keep the Saginaw Chippewa language alive.
Their goal is to see where the community is at with understanding and speaking the Saginaw Chippewa Language.
In order to get a better understanding of the communities language needs, a survey will be conducted. It will be mailed out and include a self addressed return envelope. Tribal employees may complete the survey via E-mail. Participants who return the survey will be eligible to win one of three prizes which will be announced at a later date.
The grand prize will be a two night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge.
It will only take a few minutes to complete the survey. Questions may be directed to Tracy Lee, Saginaw Chippewa Language Community Planner, at (989) 775-4535.
