Tribal Operations Maintenance Department Landscape Project

In an effort to provide bonus coverage, Team Observer joins with the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Operations Maintenance Department as they celebrate their latest landscape addition to the 7070 East Broadway offices. Tribal Maintenance workers (pictured left to right) Gilbert Williams, Jesse Helms, Robert Walker, David Anderson, Willie Bailey Jr. and Storeroom Clerk Cynthia Kyser began the project last summer and thanks to the support of Tribal Council and Administration they were able to complete their year-long project.
“We did experience some vandalism to the fountain liner and landscaping area and it does get frustrating when Tribal property gets broken,” Kyser informs. “We now have 24 hour surveillance around the Tribal Operations building and it shows the kind of work we can do when we have the community support behind it.”
