Behavioral Health Tribal-State Consultation brings leaders together

On behalf of SAMSHA Tribal Training and Technical Center and Michigan Tribal Behavioral Health Communication Network, the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel is hosting  Michigan Tribal leaders and employees in assisting with the development of tribal/state consultation process focused on Behavioral/Mental health needs.

Behavioral Health Administrator Hunter Genia, along with Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Council members Ron Nelson, Michele Stanley and Tim J. Davis, and Tribal Assistant Administrators Tonia Leaureaux and Ruben Mosqueda have joined in on certain sessions from the past two days.

The Sept. 3-5, 2014 meetings occur 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with various Michigan Tribal substance abuse, prevention, wellness, behavioral health administrators/providers and Tribal leadership attending.
