Heavy equipment and storm sewer construction will force a temporary road closure on Leaton Road until the contractors are able to finish the drainage. “Leaton Road from the entrance to the Nimkee Clinic (the most northerly drive of the project) to just north of Andahwod will be closed off due to storm sewer and drain being placed in this area,” Prein & Newhof Contractor Bob Ouwinga informs. “Access to the seniors center at Andahwod will be from the South from Remus Road. This closure is likely to continue throughout the week and into the weekend until this phase of construction is completed.” Please re-route travel through Leaton Road areas accordingly until further notice is given.
