Andahwod Thanksgiving Feast 11-19-15

In an effort to provide bonus coverage, Team Observer joins the Andahwod Continuing Care & Elder Services as they celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 19th.  The feast, prepared by the Andahwod kitchen staff, featured the following traditional cornucopia of seasonal delights:  cranberry relish, fresh garden salad, fruit, carrots, green beans, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes with marshmallow glaze, down home pumpkin pie and, of course, turkey! 

 

 

The staff was assisted by the Saginaw Chippewa Youth Council who served beverages and provided that special pampering for the scrumptious holiday meal.  Don’t forget the Recreation Department will be having their “Home for the Holidays Family Dinner Night” at the Eagles Nest Tribal Gym on Wednesday Nov. 25th at 6pm.
