Soaring Eagle AMSOIL Championship Snocross action this weekend! 2-24-17
Joseph V. Sowmick - February 24, 2017
In an effort to provide bonus coverage, Team Observer is on track with Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort as they are ready to deliver a full weekend of excitement. The snow machines will be flying high during the Feb. 24-25 Soaring Eagle AMSOIL Championship Snocross National. Tickets are on sale now starting at $25 and weekend passes are available if you’re ready for some of the best snowmobile racers in the world.
Tim Tremblay (AMSOIL/Scheuring/Ski-Doo) took the checkered last year to win a wild Pro Open main event but Pelican Rapids, Minn. resident and former championTucker Hibbert is already on site and is up for the challenge.
“I really like the track at Soaring Eagle and with all the fans and the big casino here, this is a real deal and I’m happy to be here and be a part of it,” Tremblay said. “This is one of the biggest tracks we have been on this year for sure. There are a lot of rhythm sections and big jumps… The racers get competitive and it plays to developing a strategy for the race and how to handle the track in a technical way.”
Opening ceremonies start at 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday nights with tonight’s action featuring snowbikes, Pro-Lite and Pro-Open races for men and women. Major snowmobile sponsors and vendors are there and equipment and merchandise for purchase. SECR Food & Beverage is also on site to serve you.
Snocross fans will surely be clamoring for a glimpse of the athletes they watch regularly throughout the season on the CBS Sports Network and ESPN Winter X Games broadcasts. The Soaring Eagle AMSOIL Championship Snocross National action starts this weekend Feb. 24-25 and you won’t want to miss the high flying action.
