As shareholders of the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, Saginaw Chippewa Tribal members Chris Bailey and David Otto believe the strength of the operation is in its employees.
Bailey was recently hired as Director of Slot Operations and Otto as Director of Table Games. Both individuals have logged many years of employment with the Tribe's gaming enterprises.
"I am committed to providing outstanding customer service, which will ensure the continued success of the gaming operation of the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort," stated Bailey, who started as a slot technician trainee about 10 years ago.
Otto, while serving on the National Indian Gaming Commission Tribal Advisory Committee several years ago, helped develop federal minimum internal control standards for Indian casinos.
"I am grateful to be given the opportunity to be Table Games director at our Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort," said Otto. "It took me 17 years to work my way through the ranks of table games with a few stops on Tribal Council. My duties are the same-to protect the assets of the Tribe and to enhance profitability on a much larger scale while encouraging Tribal members to work in gaming to have a better understanding of the business."
Otto replaced Darryl Jackson, who now serves as Tribal Clerk.
"I'd like to give Darryl Jackson a special miigwetch for his time and dedication served at Soaring Eagle," added Otto.
