Casino goers will have several more entertainment options with the recent reopening of the poker room.
Patrons were allowed to occupy the six tables during a soft opening on Feb. 18 at 10 a.m., according to Director of Table Games Operations David Otto. Two of the tables have 10 seats, while the remaining have seven.
"There's been an excellent response so far," he stated. "We're glad to have more games for Soaring Eagle patrons to play."
Poker room games include:
-Texas Hold-Em and Omaha Hi-Lo. These games will be structured; $5-10, $10-20 or higher betting structures.
-Dealer's Choice. Customer on the dealer button picks the game (Hold-Em, Omaha or Pineapple). This table may or may not have structured betting.
-Seven Card Stud (Hi or Hi-Lo) This game will have an ante (players put in money before cards are dealt).
The poker room will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. It will be also open from Friday at 10 a.m. to Monday at 2 a.m. The room is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The poker room was closed a year ago on Feb. 18 for "business reasons."
Otto said more tables may be added to the room based on demand.
