Art Market applications currently available

Applications are still being taken from Native American artisans to apply for acceptance in the 2005 Indigenous Peoples Art Market and Juried Show slated for October 7-9 at the Ziibiwing Center of Anishnabe Culture & Lifeways in Mt. Pleasant.

The Indigenous Peoples Art Market is a three-day show presenting leading Native artists and their work to the mid-Michigan area.

Judges with special expertise in the field of Native art will select the winning artists in the Juried Art Show. Over $17,000 will be awarded in prize money.

There will also be an art market, which is open to all applicants who are selected by the jury-including those who have been selected to compete in the juried art show.

More detailed information will be sent to the selected artists at the time of notification.
