Tribal Observer Issue: June 15, 2006
To better accommodate the view Soaring Eagle concert goers have in the Entertainment Hall, a new seating arrangement will be implemented starting with the Glenn Frey show on July 20.
Tables have been eliminated with the new plan, resulting in a 3,523 seating arrangement with the following breakdown:
•Platinum 405 •Gold 786 •Silver 1,830 •Bronze (general admission) 376 and Obstructed View 126.
The former seating plan allowed for 3,260 tickets to be sold.
Saginaw Chippewa Academy middle school student Eddie Pelcher was certainly shooting for the stars during a recent classroom exercise.
With overcast skies and a pushy west wind, the 13-year-old son of Earl and Mary Pelcher gently placed the launch rod through the straw-like tube on the side of his cardboard creation that featured an unorthodox fin configuration.
The Elders Facility groundbreaking ceremony on June 9 brought a dream to fruition.
For some, the event signified reaching a long anticipated goal of providing homes for Tribal Elders who require daily support in living a full, active, healthy and social life.
But for others, the day symbolized a future of safe, worry-free living to enjoy the autumn phase of one’s life cycle.
