District 1 representative Ruth Moses resigned from Tribal Council on March 5.
The economic growth of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan can be measured in many ways—from the number of its employees to the on-going efforts in meeting spatial needs for dozens of programs and several business endeavors.
Tribal Council approved several resolutions concerning housing and finance, as well as heard updates from its planning and purchasing departments during the March 5 regular session.
Saginaw Chippewa voters representing District 1 will head to the polls May 17 to fill a vacancy created by Ruth Moses’ recent resignation.
