2022 Chippewa River Cleanup

10:30 a.m.  |  Deerfield Park

2425 W. Remus Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858

• Introductions & Sign In

• Water Ceremony performed by Tribal Elder

• Upon arrival participants should inform the Deerfield gate that they part of the River Cleanup

• After the cleanup is completed, transportation back to Deerfield Park will be provided

• In the event of inclement weather, registered attendees will be notified and the event will be rescheduled

Launching into the water at 11 a.m.

• Canoe/kayak to Meridian Park while picking up trash as we paddle

• Snacks and water will be provided

• Time on the river will be approximately 3 to 3.5 hours

Closing Remarks at 3:30 – 4 pm
