STEVENS, THEODORE R., SR., age 83, of Weidman, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at

his home.

Funeral Services for Ted will take place at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September

26, 2024, at 12 p.m. with Rev. Doyle Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery,

Isabella County. Following the committal service at the cemetery, a potluck lunch will be held at

the Saginaw Chippewa Broadway Park Pavilion The family will greet friends on Wednesday from

4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Ted was born September 24, 1940, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Simon and Mable (Turner)

Stevens. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Ted married Dianna Wiseley

on October 3, 1988. Ted worked for General Motors for many years, retiring in 1998. He

enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and carpentry work. Ted was known for working on cars and

tractors, figure eight racing, and riding his motorcycle.

Ted is survived by his wife Dianna Stevens; children Russell Stevens of Wheeler, Theodore

Stevens, Jr. of St. Charles, Brian (Shannon) Stevens of Six Lakes, Kenneth Stevens of St. Charles,

David (Kayla) Stevens of Florida, Josatan (Valerie) Stevens of Fowlerville, Samuel (Nicole)

Stevens of Vestaburg, Mathew Seger (Jessica) of Weidman, April Stevens of Mt. Pleasant, Gidget

(Earl) Ackerman of Fowlerville; son-in-law Thomas Davis; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren;

and his beloved dog "Smokey".

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Brenda Merren; son Anthony Seger; 3

granddaughters; brothers Donald, Russell, Gale, Earl "Bud", Frederick "Pudge", Richard; sisters

Beatrice, Wanda, and Anna Mae.
