Featured speaker: Anna Winters

Anna Winters is a Certified Peer Recovery Coach and the Isabella County Tribal Community Coordinator of Peer 360 Recovery Alliance, serving the Tribal Community in and around Isabella County. Anna is a person in long-term sustained recovery and has been part of the recovery community for 4+ years. She is a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Tribe and a proud mother of four. Anna’s focus is providing peer support to people in recovery. A process that can include applying the concepts of “Culture 1st” and “Walking the Red Road” to one’s recovery journey. Anna’s children are her motivators. She is learning to walk the Red Road with them, so that they may do the same with their children and their children’s children, and so forth and so on.
