Dr. Lund graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in 1994, and completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 1995. Joining the US Public Health Service/Indian Health Service as a Commissioned Officer in 1995, Dr. Lund began working with the Nez Perce Tribe in Idaho. She transferred to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to work with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in 1998, where she has been ever since. For Dr. Lund, it continues to be a pleasure to work and grow with the SCIT. She is a firm believer in respect, good manners, kindness, and the belief that if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right. She continually strives to carry these tenets into both her professional and personal lives. When not working, she enjoys hugging her family, reading, taking walks and stained glass art.

Debbie was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. She went to undergraduate school at the University of Michigan. Immediately after graduation, Debbie went to the University of Detroit Dental School. She met her husband in California, and shortly after they moved to California. Debbie opened her own private practice there and stayed for over 20 years. Deciding to return to Michigan to be closer to family Debbie accepted the position of Staff Dentist at Nimkee and feels she has a new "dental family" with the staff at Nimkee and the tribal members.

Hi my name is Jody. I graduated from Charles Stew­art Mott College in 1996. I worked in Lansing area before moving to the Mt. Pleasant area in 2019. I am focused on creating a comfortable dental experience, I enjoy listening to patient's dental concerns and I am focused on each patients dental I hygiene needs to achieve good oral health. When not at work I enjoy outdoor walks, kayaking or spend­ing time with family and friends.

Rashel started her dental career as a dental assistant in 1993. In 2010 she decided to expand her horizons at Ferris State University. She graduated in 2013 with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Rashel is dedicated to providing quality care with utmost compassion and is excited to continue her career at Nimkee Clinic. When Rashel is not trying to save the world a tooth at a time, she enjoys camping, spending time on the beach and shopping for the next pair of tennis shoes or flip flops to add to her collection.

Elizabeth began her dental assisting education in 2003. In 2007 she graduated from Delta College with an Associate in Applied Science degree and passed her state board exam receiving her RDA license. In the spring of 2009 Elizabeth began working for the SCIT at the Nimkee Dental Clinic. Elizabeth feels very lucky to work in such a beautiful clinic and to have so many wonderful people to work with. Elizabeth enjoys her job and hopes to be part of the Nimkee family for a very long time.

Annette graduated from Grand Rapids Educational Center in 1990. She has been a dental assistant on and off since then. Annette always seemed to come back to work in the dental field; she loves it. She loves working with the patients, whether it's working to improve their smile or helping to lessen the fear of the dental experience. Annette says, "The constant change that comes with being an assistant is never boring because there is always something new and exciting happening."

I am currently a CDA, RDA, EFDA, and soon to be a CDBP. I love to learn and grow as the industry changes and you will find me participating in as many continuing classes as possible. My passion for dentistry was born the first time I watched a patient's self-esteem and confidence in herself grow as she went through her dental treatment. It was truly amazing to be able to help take her from pain, no smiles and hiding her mouth, to smiling and laughing again. You will see me around for a long time to come, helping out somewhere in the dental department.

Hi, my name is Jodi Carter, I’ve lived in the Mt. Pleasant area my entire life. My career as a Dental Assistant began in 1992. All these years later, I still love working in dentistry. Each new patient brings something new, unique, and ex-citing with them. I am very happy to be with SCIT. Working in a clinical setting with so many other people as passion-ate about dentistry as myself is a fun ex-perience. My career previously has been private practice. My free time is spent motorcycling across our beautiful state with my little dog Coco as my co-pilot. I also enjoy rock hounding the shores of our great lakes or just snuggling with my dog and 3 cats watching zombie movies. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Andi has been employed with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, at the Nimkee Dental Clinic since October 2005. She has been in the dental profession since 1989 and is currently working as the Dental Clinic's Receptionist. Andi thoroughly enjoys the dental profession and working for the Tribe.

I started in the dental field in 2002. I completed the program for Registered Dental Assistant at Washtenaw Community College in 2006, working many facets of dentistry including front desk, chairside assisting for general, oral surgery, orthodontics, and practice management. I took a break and went into the pipeline industry working as a Project Manager on corrosion protection from 2018-2022. I missed the dental field and am excited to be back!

My husband Bob and I enjoy our grandbabies, Nashville, and anything with wheels and tires. I am a sun worshiper, love traveling, the color turquoise, prefer good vibes and to be barefoot.
