The Tribe created a burial fund that is intended to provide financial assistance to survivors of a Tribal member decedent for funeral expenses. This program provides for a payment of actual unpaid expenses up to a maximum of $6,000 which shall be payable directly to the funeral home.
Thirteen-year-old Cree Glavis is staging a return to this year’s Native American Idol show.

Much discussion has surfaced regarding the former Washington-based lobbying firms Greenberg Traurig and Capital Campaign Strategies hired by the previous administration. Our Council questioned their multimillion dollar expenditures and we are conducting an internal review of their activity.
