Thanks so much for your shared interest – the event is now full and registration is closed for the 2024 annual Chippewa River Cleanup.

Join us for a River Cleanup of the Chippewa River on Wednesday, July 10th!

We will meet at Deerfield Park at 10:30 am for a Water Ceremony by Anishinaabe Culture and Language Teacher, Cecelia Mae.
At 11:30 am we will launch into the water at Deerfield Park and will paddle to Meridian Park, picking up trash as we go.
Participants will be transported back to Deerfield Park once the event is complete.
Bring Your Own Lunch (BYOL) – No Glass.
All attendees will be required to sign a Photo & Safety Waiver.
*All kayaks are reserved – ONLY canoes are available. Participants are welcome to bring their own watercrafts.
